Magic Stix Washable Markers Review

Welcome back to Homework and Horseplay. Today I am sharing my  Magic Stix Washable Markers Review. I received a 24 pack of Magic Stix Washable Markers from The Pencil Grip, Inc. to review, and my little artists couldn’t wait to put them to use.

What are Magic Stix Markers?

Magic Stix Markers are odorless, non-toxic, washable markers with vented safety caps. These markers are available in 12 or 24  packs which can be purchased directly from The Pencil Grip, Inc. or on Amazon.

Unlike most markers that I usually purchase for my children, the Magic Stix Markers did not come in a cardboard box. Our markers arrived in a clear plastic container that has a slot for each marker to sit in. I am very impressed with the packaging of these markers. Gone are the days of fighting to get the markers back into a box (or crushed boxes for that matter)! It is super easy to see if a marker is missing in this container.

Another unique feature of the Magic Stix Markers is the vented safety caps. All of the markers have navy blue caps. Since all of the caps are the same, you don’t have to worry about your child putting the wrong color cap back on a marker. My children are all old enough to do this correctly either way, but I think this is an extra nice feature for families with littles using these markers.

Can the Magic Stix Washable Markers really last 7 days with their cap off?

I knew as soon as I received our Magic Stix Washable Markers I needed to test out their guarantee. On the cover it says:

“Won’t dry out for 7 days with their cap off. Guaranteed!”

I’m not going to lie. I was a bit skeptical about this guarantee. I cannot even begin to tell you how many markers we have gone through in my 14 years of parenting. Someone is always leaving the cap off, which just drives me absolutely crazy!

As you can see these markers proved the test of time. Not only did they not dry out in 7 days, but we ran our experiment for 14 days! I believe that these markers could have lasted much longer without the cap, but we love them so much we didn’t want to chance losing even one of them.

Are Magic Stix Markers really washable?

Yes, they truly are! Some how my little man got markers on the palm of his hand on our last day of doing the #MagicStixCapTest.

Magic Stix Markers- Yes, washable!Even with his poor efforts, his hand came clean. It is a huge plus to have markers that wash off so easily because somehow this boy always manages to get marks on his hand while using markers.

I am beyond impressed with these markers. Although Magic Stix Washable Markers are a bit more expensive than the markers we usually purchase, they are totally worth it! I know we will not have to replace these for quite some time. As you can see from Jack’s Easter egg, the colors are beautifully vibrant. I recommend anyone with children to purchase these immediately. Don’t waste your time on markers that dry out over night when your little ones forget to put the cap back on!
