Hello! If you are new here- welcome! My name is Roxanne, and I am the voice behind Homework and Horseplay. I am excited to once again be part of the official Timberdoodle Blog Team for the 2019-2020 homeschool year.
a little about me…
I am a book hoarding, coffee loving, homeschooling mama of 3! I have been homeschooling my children for 8+ years. We never planned to homeschool, but when my special needs son reached preschool age I just knew public school was not the right place for him. After a little bit [scratch that- a TON] of research we decided to try homeschooling, and we haven’t looked back since! It truly was the best decision my husband and I made for our family.
some random facts…
- I am married to my high school sweetheart, Ryan. We will be celebrating our 15th Anniversary in September.
- I grew up in a very large blended family. I am 1 of 13 children [Yes, 13!].
- Ryan and I have 3 children who are 12, 13, and 15.
- My children tell me I am an old lady living in a young body because I spend all my spare time reading, gardening, and crocheting. Oh and I talk to our 2 dogs [Luci and Henry] and 5 birdies [Otis, Ethel, Brutus, Luna, and Luther] endlessly.
